Community Guidelines

Desi Nest is a community space for South Asian immigrants in the USA. Every listing must be real, current, and posted by the person offering or seeking it. We verify contact details, remove suspicious posts, and publish scam alerts so members can avoid common housing, job, and immigration frauds.

Posting rules

Post only real, currently available rooms, apartments, or help requests.
Use accurate rent, deposit, and location details, including metro area and city / suburb.
Never ask for a deposit before an in-person or video walkthrough.
No discrimination beyond what US fair housing law permits.
No brokers, agents, or paid lead resellers posting as individuals.
